Nutrient-dense desserts CAN be rich and creamy. Even if they don’t contain a sliver of unhealthy ingredients. That’s because these recipes have been gathered, filtered, and improved by a health-conscious fanatic who believes great food should taste great too.
No class of food inspires a greater range of emotions than the dessert.
On the one hand, for us gals, there is probably no quicker way to turn our mood around than to pop a spoonful of ice cream, cheesecake,or chocolate fudge into our mouth. And there really is a marked gender bias at play here – consumer surveys indicate that we are 65 percent more likely than men to resort to comfort food as a means of countering negative emotions.
